On August 27th, 2:30 p.m., Logan and I left to pick up Kylie from school. Sadly, I had the misfortune of being on the wrong side of the school and Ky was the last one picked up. An aide helped her into the car and after buckling her seat belt, she burst into tears. When she finally calmed down, I pushed the record button on my iphone and asked her how her day went. This is what she had to say:
I got an important sticker on my dress!
The playground was boring but inside as sort of fun.
The teacher made me never go on the monkey bars.
We only got to play freeze tag and slide on the slide. No monkey bars. It was boring.
We played shadow tag where you step on the shadow.
We read a storybook. It was called “The Kissing Hand.” It was pretty good.
We had to put our heads down and rest after the playground.
I made one friend. I don’t remember their name. It was a girl. She had a dress that was longer than mine
I had one bowl of fruit left. The teacher said I could eat it for snack. I tried to use scissors to get it open but it didn’t work.
I was scared when you left because I thought I had to stay at school forever.
It would be great if the playground had a water slide but it did not.
We went to gym and we ran back and forth.
Yeah, it was a pretty good day. I guess.
