It’s been 4 months since I posted one of these.

Loving: My Nexus tablet and Manuganu. I haven’t been much of a gamer for the last decade but this action adventure game is awesome! Yes, the controls are touch screen but the graphics remind me of the old N64 games. I also heard somewhere recently that gamers have far less nightmares that non-gamers . +1 for gaming.

Reading: The Joy Luck Club is on my coffee table but I haven’t cracked the book open. It’s been over a week. The kids and I however, are reading a lot of Dr. Seuss. My favorite is Oh the Thinks you can Think. Kylie’s is Green Eggs and Ham.

Watching:  Oxygen’s Best Ink and TLC’s America’s Worst Tattoos. I never realized how bad my ink was until I got hooked on America’s Worst Tattoos. It’s amazing what they can do with tattoos now. Very very excited about scouting out an artist for my cover up.

Anticipating: Our first family camping trip at Robber’s Cave. Horseback riding and canoeing; I couldn’t ask for a better birthday/Mom’s Day/birthday weekend.

Listening to: Regina Spektor and Ingrid Michaelson and other happy Indie Pop Artists. I’m sure somewhere somebody just gagged.

Making me sad: Crimes against children. Maybe we’re more aware of it now because of the Amber Alert but I can’t help but wonder: Why? Why Children? I wish we could phone a smite and bring immediate justice to those who commit crimes against the innocent. Amber Alert? SMITE!

Making me happy: Ky’s school sent home a box to collect change for kids with cancer. What I love about this is the drive is strictly for the change in your home. Kylie spent an hour hunting down all the loose change in the house and gave half of the contents of her piggy bank. We are very proud.

Wishing: A big heap of money to fall out the sky. Seriously. Life is good 🙂
