On back to school night 2012, amid the countless hand outs I received, was a page labeled “Turn Trash into Cash”. Clever I thought. I wonder how many of you toss those little coupons away without a second thought. I know I certainly have. I would save them for months, have no idea how to redeem them and inadvertently, one child or the other would spill something inside my Box Tops Bag. Don’t ask me how that works. It just does.
According to this flyer, there are 3 ways to earn money for your school through the Box Tops for Education Program. 3! You can clip the box tops and then hand them over to the school of your choice. From there, the schools will mail them to the Box Tops for Education Program and in turn, BFTE will send the school a check for each BFTE coupon redeemed.
I encourage you to register online at boxtops4education.com. After logging in, you can shop online at the Box Tops Marketplace. Conveniently, there are over 100 participating retail stores. Up to 15 eBox Tops per $10 spent can be automatically donated back to your school of choice.
Also on the BTFE website, is the link “Earn/Shop Reading Room”. Click it and gain access to Barnes and Nobles’ entire selection. Up to 6 eBox Tops per $10 spent can be donated to your school.
If you don’t have school aged kiddos or grandkiddos, do it for the community. Our schools are in need and this is such an easy way to give back. If now is not the time, bookmark boxtops4education.com for your holiday shopping. The future thanks you.
